Made of ice
61I couldn't find those statues from ice, of which all my friends and relatives spoke about. Finally I was really happy about being almost alone there to make some photos.
Frankly saying i don't even imagine HOW do masters make such elegant figures and create in detail extremely small parts! But people are fond of them, they don't let each other to come close to the ice! Ah, we are selfish.
I found some pictures of different statues in other countries and should say: we are not the last :)I was impressed by these two ones, it seems they were made in Russia
It looks like the carriage in which prince and princess from well known fairy tales are riding in a luxurious garden. Mmm..
We had very light clothes that's why it was difficult to look for all of ice statues, but were lucky to see some. The sister of my friend was posing near the figures.
I suddenly found out that some of them were not empty, fruits and toys, and even flowers were in the middle. If all the viewers were neat and the snow was pure white i would photograph a piece of ice with the rose (as in the fairytale 'Beauty and the Beast')
I like oranges most of all because of their yummy look :)

Ice sculptures fascinate me! Such transient art like sand sculptures and the sand mandalas of the monks but always intriguing!
